Our services
Locum West provides a locum service for health services across WA. We have a large and fully vetted pool of doctors who have trained within the WA health system. Our aim is to provide employers a way to easily and reliably fill short term and unexpected vacancies.
Our doctors are able to provide cover for any medical registrar roles as well as any resident role including medical, surgical and emergency. We also are able to offer cover for a variety of other roles including after hours hospital cover and stress testing. Our executive have extensive clinical experience and so are uniquely skilled in finding the right doctor for the right position.
We have relationships with public hospitals, private hospitals and small private businesses in Perth.

The vast majority of our doctors have obtained their medical degree from WA universities and have worked extensively in WA health. Most doctors are PGY 5+ and include advanced trainees and junior consultants.
Professional Management
Our director is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators and we have extensive experience working in the public and private system. Our doctors are fully vetted with full documentation and background checks required prior to being able to work. Our management systems allow employers to easily find candidates in a stress free manner.

Our executive have helped staff multiple hospitals in WA since 2012 even prior to the establishment of Locum West. We have had 0 missed shifts to date, having successfully completed in excess of 2000 shifts during this time at various hospital sites in Perth. We have internal cover arrangements available to cover unforeseen unavailability.
Short Notice Availability
Our processes allow us to fill positions with short notice. Our pool of doctors all require up to date documentation and are able to work immediately.
